A total of 51 top B-schools in India accept NMAT scores for MBA admission 2025, some of them are SPJIMR Mumbai, NMIMS Mumbai, K J Somaiya Institute of Management, IFIM College, ISB, IFMR, ITM Business School, SRM University, VIT University and UPES. Apart from that, there are 27 B-schools outside India, which include South Africa, Nigeria, Morocco, the Philippines, and Hungary, which also accept NMAT scores.
NMIMS Cutoff for NMAT 2024
The NMAT cutoff score is announced after the complete announcement of NMAT results. The NMAT result 2024 is declared within 48 hours of the exam. There will be around 45 colleges participating in NMAT 2024. The cutoff score varies from institute to institute. NMIMS Admission Process
Candidates will have to fill out a separate admission form from the official website of SVKM’s NMIMS. To take admission to any campus of NMIMS, candidates will have to clear the following stages.
Stage 1- Appear for the NMAT 2024 exam
Stage 2- After the declaration of the NMAT result, shortlisted candidates will be called for the following rounds:

When you sit for NMAT, it does take a strict process of identity verification. That can be done as follows:
- Keep valid ID proof with your signature on it such as your passport or PAN card, etc. ID issued by the government with your photo and signature would be considered acceptable. The same will be cross-checked at the time of reaching the test center.
- Digital Signature: These days, their digital signature is quite abundantly collected through the check-in process, which is made on a digital pad or on a device.
- Manual Signature: They may at times ask for your manual signature on an attendance sheet, as proof of your presence during the test.
However, kindly refer to the guidelines by the NMAT exam authorities or the test center for specific information.
MAT and NMAT are both entrance exams conducted for admission into management program in India. While there maybe some overlap in terms of the general aptitude & reasoning sections, it's important to note that they are conducted by different bodies and have different focuses.
MAT covers sections like language comprehension, Mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical reasoning, and India and Global environment.
NMAT on the other hand, focuses on language skills, Quantitative analysis and logical reasoning.
MAT is conducted in either paper based or computer based but, NMAT is only computer based.
MAT scores are accepted by wide range of management schools across India. While NMAT score are primarily used for admission into NMIMS, and some other institutions.
Given these differences, it's advisable to study separately for each exam.
