MAT 2026 admit card for PBT (February session) will be out on February 26, 2026, whereas for CBT (February session), the admit card will be released on March 5, 2026. The MAT exam 2026 for the February session will be held in two modes, i.e., CBT and PBT. The registration process for MAT 2026 PBT will close on February 23, 2026, while MAT 2026 registration for CBT (February session) will close on March 2, 2026. The MAT 2026 computer-based test will be held on March 1 and 8, 2026, for the PBT and CBT modes, respectively. The MAT 2026 entrance exam will be conducted in around 70+ test cities. More than 600+ B schools in India will accept the MAT 2026 score. The MAT exam question paper consists of five sections, each with 30 questions. A total of 150 questions are to be attempted over 120 minutes. The MAT exam 2026 structure is given below:

MAT 2.0 includes a newer section, Economic and Business Environment, focusing on current economic trends, financial products and services, and technological interventions in businesses. What is the MAT exam?
The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardised test conducted since 1988 that helps business schools (B-schools) screen applicants for admission to PGDM/MBA and allied programs. The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, recognised MAT as a national-level examination in 2003.
Any B-school, national or international, can consider the MAT score as an admission input based on the scorecards issued to the candidates. MAT serves as a gateway to 20,000+ prestigious management seats in 600+ B-schools in India.

The MAT 2024 registration for the December session has commenced on September 6.
The AIMA MAT exam for the December session will be held in PBT, IBT, and CBT mode. The CBT 1 will be held on December 7, PBT on December 14, and CBT 2 on December 22, 2024.
Eligible candidates can complete their MAT registration 2024 by paying the MAT application fees of Rs. 2100 for a single mode of test and an amount of Rs. 1500 to be paid for attending more than one mode.
