  • Xavier Aptitude Test is popularly known as XAT. It is a national-level entrance exam for MBA aspirants.
  • XAT exam is conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur once a year on the first Sunday of January every year in online mode.
  • The exam consists of 104 questions which are multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that have to be solved within 3.30 hours. The exam fee is INR 1,800 for all the categories.
  • The XAT question paper is divided into 4 sections based on Decision-making, Verbal Ability, Logical Ability, Quantitative analysis, general knowledge, and data interpretation.
  • There is a negative marking in the XAT exam. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted.

  1. Qualification - The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant course from a recognized university or college. The students belonging to reserved categories like SC, ST, PWD, and DA must have at least 45% marks.
